Are you a beautiful-pic hunter ? If, like me, you love taking pictures of anything and everything, head to Day2Night, probably one of the most instagrammable place in the city center or Vientiane.
Located near by the Mekong riverbank, Day2Night is made from container and a lot of green. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seatings, and depends of course of the weather, but you feel like in a bubble seating outside.
I took pleasure having a Passion soda on the terrace-garden. A what ? Yes, a Passion smoothie coming with soda water… That you are supposed to poor into the same glass. I did not. The smoothie was good – understand flavoured enough and not too sweet. So I didn’t want to take the “risk” to ruin it !
And then I had lunch inside, in the container at the ground floor: a clean black and white atmosphere, made of wall of white bricks, to contrast with the black tables and chairs.
For the food, you have plenty of choice, but you know how much I love Vietnamese food, I couldn’t resist to order some banh boc lot. They are not the “traditional” (filled with small dried shrimps) ones I used to have (and that I really really really love), but filled like the banh cuon, ground pork and black mushrooms. But they were very good though, hubbie even decided to “share” MY plate “at the end”.
You can also have many sweet treats, that I didn’t try, but they seem pretty popular.
