Café Ango is a recent finding. A friend of mine dated me there for lunch, and this is actually the only place we went for girly lunch since then. Located in the center, I only tried the lunch there, but this is also open for dinner.
Take of your shoes and choose a Japanese style sitting on one of these comfortable mattress. The place is a bit tiny, but you can really enjoy a relax and cosy atmosphere; that’s perfect for the lunch break. However, make sure you arrive early if you want a table, it can be quickly crowded.

The menu is, like the place, so cute ! In addition of the images on each page, there are some suggestions hand written: some typical japanese treats as coconut milk or almond jelly.

My paradox is that I love to try new tastes, but then I try something and I like it , I can go for the same dish over and over again. At Café Ango, it’s the taco salad, which consists in marinated ground beef and melted cheese topped on Japanese rice. Add to this some coriander leaves, tomato and sweet peppers, and you go to heaven. You won’t finish it if you are not VERY hungry, but it is definitely worth a try.

The avocado plate is a great choice too. And it’s lighter. You can have it on rice or ask for them to put tofu instead, which can be a good option for the ones who want something not heavy at lunch.
