La Cage du Coq

Chef Pierre and his team brought in their luggages the generous and gourmand food of the South West of France.

Breakfast & Brunch

Before heading a long day of work or after a long night of clubbing, get some energy and visit La Cage du Coq for full of flavour set !

If your appetite is quite reasonable, go for a French or English breakfast: baguette, brioche and jam for the first one, baked beans and yummy sausages for the second. But if your tummy is begging you to feed it, choose the brunch formula. My favourite is the Terrien, but the Aérien will definitely lead you to heaven: Oeuf cocotte with duck liver, Salmon blinis, duck carpaccio toast, Panna Cotta, …

The atmosphere

Decorated with style, La Cage du Coq, which litterally means “Roaster cage”, is all about … Yea, rooster: origami, painting and these light suspensions !

In a retro style – and sustainable spirit, chairs are made from wood pallets and the menus with ancient 39′ and 45′. Very original !

The restaurant, located in the city center, is however in a small street, which allows us to enjoy our meal quietly, with wide variety of music playing in the backrgound (mostly French)

Lunch & Dinner

A lunch set is also proposed every week days, with very reasonable price, including a soup and a main. Even with 30° C outside, having a vegetable soup is always nice. But other options “à la carte” are possible too, such as the “all around mushrooms”: a soup, a friand and a risotto. Delicious.

For dinner, if you prefer something light, the salad are perfect: light but gourmand and generous. Otherwise, the beef stew with dark Beerlao is simply A-MA-ZING !

Where to find them
